So far this has been a side line so I have assembled undercoated and painted the red on the first two boxes of Victrix British Peninsular Line company, I have the equivalent of another two units still on spues one Waterloo the other Peninsular both Line company. Now a game is a prospect I have stepped up a gear and finished the first 8, two bases worth, only another 24 to go for first unit.

My first unit will be the 3rd Foot, the Buffs mainly because their standard is one of those included in the box and partly because they have an interesting history, this means under the system that everyone else seems to be using I am doing the first Brigade 2nd Division Talavera, which would require me to do the the 48th and 66th too, however they weren't at the other battles that everyone else is using, which will not be a major problem as the buff colour of the 3rds facing is the same as many other units so I can change them should the need arise i.e. I find a Brigade that fits better that I would prefer.



So the plan now is to finish the rest of the unit within a month or so, then to assemble the rest. Somewhere down the line I am going to pick up a box of the flank company, depending on how the rules work I will either split these to fill existing units, or field them as a unit, either way I am likely to end up with two brigades worth of troops and I have a desire to do the light division which will mean using the victrix metal heads to field the 52nd a unit I like and waiting for someone to do plastic riflemen.
